I still cultivate unanswered questions about lesbian relationships - including friendships - but my curiosity has always made me question the world in general. Some questions still remain very existentialist while others are simply amusing. As I was discussing life in general with a friend, I think there comes a point in time in ours lives where we tend to seek meaning and worthiness in everything we do. I know I want my career to be filled with meaningful experiences just as I hope to find those experiences in my personal life as well.
Whether we are single or in a relationship, we all have a personal truth about who we are and what drives us. The trick is to know what that truth is... identify with it and become that true essence that makes us all shine in different ways. The world is a playground. Some thrive on exploring the world, others thrive on familyhood and many feed on their music! When all our passions come together, we create a new world of possibilities.
What were you born to do in this lifetime? What makes you feel alive? What is your true passion? How far are you willing to go to fulfil your dreams?
As you can see, Ally is back on the road again, asking questions... not knowing where the answers really lie. And as I think of Rainer Maria Rilke's famous quote, knowing the answer isn't always enough. One must fully experience it in order to be "enlightened" by the answers.
I hope you will enjoy the articles to come and that they will make you wonder about your life and the world out there! Feel free to agree or disagree! Let me know about your point of view. I am always seeking for a new angle, a new perspective, a new pair of glasses with which to see the world...

"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, some day far in the future, you will gradually, without noticing it, live your way into the answer." - Rainer M. Rilke
