On Tuesday morning, I started the day with a usually challenging group but yesterday they were awesome. Their participation was at their peek and they were ready for the small challenges I laid out for them. It was an energizing class, filled with interaction and participation! The rest of the day was just as good. I was dynamic, efficient and productive! Quite a change from the day before!
After finishing up the last preparations for this week’s classes, I gathered my things and headed back home. As I walked in, I saw an envelope lying on the carpet, in the hall. It was a late “Happy Holidays” card from a friend I hardly ever see. In the card it said that my words inspired her an act of kindness. I was moved by the gesture. She could have sent me a quick e-mail or a short message through this blog but no. Through the hectic schedule of her family life and her working day, she took the time to buy a card, think about what she wanted to share and go to the post office to mail it. No big deal you will think but to me, this unexpected card took a very different meaning because every detail counts and I’m guessing it’s the world coming together and sharing the kindness. So, to that friend, I will simply say that it is never too late for a random act of kindness. And thanks to you, the good day I was having turned into an awesome day!
Thanks a million!
